16 June 2001 - Milton Keynes, England, UK Concert Review 18 June 2001
One Wild Day!!!!

A review by Aly / Alymcilduff@aol.com

What a truly amazing day!!! These guys have still got it after nearly 20 years. This was my 22nd show and has got to be one of the best. So much passion and enthusiasm. I was lucky enough to be in the pit for all of the three shows I attended and it was jungle in there!! The crowd were going mad - dancing, singing their hearts out and just generally having one wild night!!

I was lucky enough to be staying in the hotel directly across from the bowl so we didn't have any travel problems (unlike some of you!)

What about Matchbox 20? What an absolutely excellent band - count me in as a new fan of theirs and Rob Thomas has an awesome voice!!

To top off an almost perfect day - we were walking back to our hotel and in the field next door was a helicopter - you know what's coming don't you!!! After 10 mins wait the guys showed up and before getting in the helicopter stood for a few mins waving at everyone before getting in!!

The only gripe I have is - These Days!!! Why no songs from this album (in my opinion the best album) Lucky for me that they did actually sing These Days at Cardiff last night!!
