milton keynes hell
I left really early in the hope I could get in the pit, got to the bowl at 9 am, already 100 there in the pissing rain, the bowl is called so due to resemblence of a complete toilet !! No information outside , eventaully got in at 2.00 pm, arrogant glaswegian stewards telling you to slow down , some fans were physically stopped, once I'd raced downt the mudy bank got the pit only to be told fan club only, any spare wristbands were given out at gate 3 .. effing brilliant .... beer at 2.75 a pint , tokens only .. really cheesy mock up of the empire state above the stage , band comes on via video of them in a lift .. what are they on ?? sound system was a tandy reject , set was good in respect that they played a few numbers seldom heard as raise your hands, in these arms , I'll be there for you, along with the faves like bed of roses, keep the faith, bad name , blaze of glory, new hits like its my life, captain crash, just older ... final encore was prayer , crowd noise totally drowned out the sound system many times !! fight broke out on the pitch, security did sweet fa "we can't leave the soundbank" where they casually observed the scuffle .. after seeing them last year at wembley on the last show , admittedly made far better by getting in the pit , BJ need to buy new speakers and Jon needs to take his head out of his arse .. he performs damned well but he loves himself too much ...
