Not old, just older .... how true! I've seen loads of BJ-concerts and this one has definitely been the most exciting AND the most relaxed one! BJ played the amazing old stuff (Raise your hands, Wild is the wind, ...), they left out the "These days"-album completely (Thank You!!!) and if they had not played "Always" (WHY did they ever write this damn song???), the set-list might have been TOTALLY perfect (and it must be so incredibly hard to choose between all these fantastic songs...). They could have played "Good guys don't always wear white" though ... anyone ever saw them perform this one live?

Anyway: I'm on the road again, drinking red wine for breakfast, remembering what life should be like - and what more can I say about what impact that concert had? JBJ flirted much less than in earlier years which I found pretty relaxing, I totally missed the solos (drums and keyboards and even Richie could have given some more) and one thing really stressed me out (have a look at the previous review): the fans were amazingly boring. I have never seen such a dumb crowd at a BJ-concert, what the hell happened to these guys??? The location was perfect, beautiful weather, a totally overwhelming summer's day - personally I believe that Supersonic killed the crowd ...
Well, for all you guys far away: It's been another hell of a show and there's many more of them about to come in the following years. For the first time, it seemed that they played for the fun of music only - and they had loads of that (so had I!)

So let's look forward to more magic in our lifes ...
