27 June 2001 - Padova, Italy Concert Review 30 June 2001

A review by cinder / jovigal@libero.it

i can't still believe it, at last, after long years of waiting, i managed to see the band live. my first bon jovi concert, mi first concert ever. it was a succession of icredible emotions. and i think that this is all that really matters. me too, at the beginning, i was a bit disappointed, as well as many other fans, because the organization didn't work well, the concert was short, jon didn' interact with the ppl, but, while i was going back home, in my car, i realized that i wasn't interested in those things. i remeber ritchie's fast fingers running up and down his guitar, tico's muscolar arms beatind the drums like a hammer, dave's gold curls blowing in the air with the notes of his keyboards, hugh's sweet and shy smile, jon's blue eyes wet with sweat, clearly soffering and sorry for the lack of voice. i remember the lights, the colours, the fireworks, the scenografy, thousands of fans moving and shaking and clapping their hands all togheter. it was a magic and unbelievable night for me. of course it could have been better, jon could have not been ill, they could have chosen a better organization and a better place to play in, but they could have also ignored italy like they did last year, and THAT would have been a big big big delusion. anyway i hope that the band realized that italian fans still love them, that they are always welcome and that we will never give up listening to their music. see you next time. cinder

p.s: a special thanx to the security guy who gave me the pass to enter the area reserved to the fan-club, just in front of the stage (wow!)

p.s: sorry for my bad english!!!
