I am anything but the average Bon Jovi fan... Did you read my signature???

I thought it was effen hilarious! Especially the way your voice mysteriously reverted to its original quality by the time you got home and listened to the playback. (Kinda like Cinderella's coach turning back into a pumpkin when the spell was broken, ain't it? LOL)

But the last line... Man, that was classic! I'm still giggling.

(Now... Would you like to see me turn THIS into a Richie thread? I could do that, y'know! 'Cause my immediate response to your punch line was, "I'm sure Richie would be relieved to know that somebody's covering Jon's six while he's not there to do it!")

j/k, ppl... Please don't respond to that last comment! "It's a joke, son!"

Jonīs voice is damaged, I donīt know how likely itīs it to be fully recovered, but itīs damaged and thatīs no secret.
Jon is aware of it and tries not to take risks.
But here he comes with songs like Always live (which is, or was..., a favourite of him), and itīs somewhat surprising,...or maybe not too much.
Because when youīre fisically injured (and he is) even if you are already recovering from the injury, you are careful. But here we have a chronic injury (or at least itīs what it seems), and of course that somebody can recover from injuries like that, but itīs more difficult the more time has passed.
Iīm completely sure that a psicologist is treating Jon (obviously other paramedics like a specch therapist too), and encouraging him to try and be confident on himself and the result.
It couldnīt be the other way around because it would be worst for him, for his voice,...
Keep Always Jon, youīre going to improve on it, your voice is going to improve, you just have to trust and keep the faith.

I've heard Always done live a few times in person... Last time may have been during the a bounce tour and while yes there's no question Jon's voice isn't what it used to be and its a hard song for him I still say keep it. To never, ever play it again would be a shame. Like someone else said it always sounds better when you are there at a show and getting it unexpectedly in an encore would make lots of people happy. Side note... My all time favorite live Always performance would be the Live from London with the extended guitar and Jon's "through the wind" adlib..... So much passion in that performance. Thank God that was captured for eternity

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

Or... (hold your breathe, it's gonna be big)...

Don't play it if he can't, and when his voice inevitably gets better, start playing it again.
