I checked this, the article said it's a billion from 1990-2014 (http://consequenceofsound.net/2014/0...llars-touring/). According to that they made a gross of $1,030,082,884 with 578 shows.
But on the other hand it's hard to believe since the last 5 tours alone had a gross of 944 million:
Because We Can: $259 million
2011 Bon Jovi live: $143 million
The Circle: $201 million
Lost Highway: $210 million
Have A Nice Day: $131 million

So you aren't wrong either

I know moat people will see this as a negative but I don't... Look at how many shows he/they did!!! That's a hard working band... not to mention what they did in the 80s... Imagine having all those bootlegs!!!
