I can't really fault KTF. As stated the band returned at a difficult time for their music to be heard and accepted with the grunge scene and all. I think the song selection is some new direction, some safe choices and some classic Jovi. Inspired by Jon in regards to the majority of song writing. I remember getting this on tape and playing it until death. There are still 8 songs I listen to regularly.
Classic album and not one I would pick holes in personally. Much the same with Slippery, New Jersey and These Days.
