No acoustic intro for Prayer. That's a first for this leg. Not to mention he's back to using the playback for the high notes before the solo.

Hopefully to save his voice for the Hall of Fame performance.

Pathetic. No excuses. That setlist is just bland - not necessarily bad, but so lame... Uninteresting.

All of a sudden, I have no high hopes for Montreal, either...

Some thoughts...

Jon wasn't bad. He moved quite a bit. His voice was ok in parts, crap in others. Highlights were LYHOM, God Bless, HAND. Lowlights were Amen and KTF. Jon was ok, but end was just 3 minutes of noise.

Everett wasn't the worst part, though I wish he'd wipe that shit eating grin off his face. Shanks is useless. Tico was awesome as usual. I was very unimpressed with Phil. Most of his solos were off, loud and distorted.

Crowd was very loud all night. And of course, the set was just so vanilla. Would have liked to hear Walls. WGIGO is nothing more than an excuse for Jon to shake his ass for the ladies. Hated the lights moving up and down on the stage. From my seat, they kept blocking the action.

All in all, it was enjoyable, if not predictable. I won't spend the money to go to Connecticut next month as that show is always more expensive and shorter.

How would this Boston 2018 show compare to a bad 2008 show?
Just wondering.

Poorly.

The setlists are ridiculously similar, but vocals matter a lot. Plus, Richie's backing vocals was such a huge asset.

Those set lists are indeed so similar it's crazy.
