Thanks for the heads up. From the YouTube videos, he also just sounded better that night. Really good version of Blood On Blood.

I dont really buy this that the label didn't let them sell the shows before, they didn't want to

But why? It makes absolute sense the contract forbade it.

A lot of old school record contracts claimed the rights to anything the band recorded whilst signed to them, so it makes perfect sense that they would not have been allowed to release live shows under the original contract, and this was renegotiated when Jon re-signed...

For this same reason, it is unlikley old live stuff will be released, unless the label want to do it...

Why not? When Springsteen negotiated it, Sony made a clause saying the releases couldn't be the same quality as a label release. There has to be a balance so if Sony decides to release a concert, people will buy it because it will be even better quality then what is out there now.

I'm just hoping that once this tour is over, someone is going to sit back and say Hummmmm, lets keep Obie busy and start cleaning out those vaults...

I remember Jon saying after he released the Box Set that those vaults are still full.... I think he use Tupac as a reference (this was all before Prince & MJ).

The record company is not stupid. We will gell all that stuff, but Jon has to die first.
