I guess that the list of their biggest hits in SA, excluding the obvious Prayer/Wanted/Bad Name, it's going to be very curious. Always is definitely their biggest song in Brazil, I'll Be There For You for the older casual audience and stuff like that. Everyone here should have been in Sao Paulo/10 to feel what was when they started playing These Days. The crowd was insane and sang along the bridge before the solo, something very rare. This Ain't A Love Song was absolutely huge in Argentina(Como Yo Nadie Te Amado) and Brazil.

But most of you have bo idea what is to be in a night club and the band starts to play Misunderstood. Literally the whole place sings along.
This guy managed to capture what it was like ! It was the most magical moment I've ever had at a live show ! You can't hear Jon singing.

if they reeeeally cared about what songs were hits on each country (which its not the case and tbh it would be a nightmare for them to do it?), with a bit of research they would find some songs brazilians really like, that were huge hits here, and would get a good answer from the crowd cos most people know them, even if they're casuals or even not fans.

Never Say Goodbye was a big thing here back in the 80s.

Always was a big thing all over the world, but damn everyone knows this song here, even if you never heard of the band (is that even possible?), together with IBTFY following the same thought.

Skipping the 90s, Thank You for Loving Me was huge, HUGE here in Brazil (because it was in a soap opera, it happens a lot).

It's my life was a hit too, the videoclip of these two songs were on MTV all the time.

Moving foward, Misunderstood was, the way I see it, the biggest hit Bon Jovi had here after 2000. Yep, soap opera. But really, it was everywhere, all the time (remember back in 98 when My Heart Will Go On was playing every corner you turned? Yes, like this) ... even very famous brazilian bands covered Misunderstood in their shows.

Everyday and Say it isn't so were a thing here too, but not as big as Misunderstood.

Anyway, these are some of the songs they could play to please us here, but I'm sure they won't be on the setlist... I can dream tho.

Wow, ok this made me cry. That was really the time of my life.
Remember how we kept screaming "THESE DAYS! THESE DAYS!" almost everytime a song ended, during the whole show lol.
Right after they performed it, Jon said "you can't wait, can you?"

siiiiiiigh.

Wow, what a crowd repsonse!! I love South American fans, it's incredible how passionate the fans are there. Imagine if the rest of the world would have responded to These Days material like this....

That is so cool. I wish These Days got that kind of reaction in the U.S. For a guy that cares so much about crowd reaction, Jon must have loved that.

This was the best live show I ever went to. Before the second encore Richie took out his iPhone and took a video of the crowd. I never saw him doing something like that.

Yep, me too. I've had shows with better setlists, but the energy and emotion that were on the air that night is something I've had never experienced before and probably never will. Moments like these are proof that Bon Jovi was the best live band in the world. The only thing that comes close was when Oasis for the first time in their history changed a setlist during the show due to the crowd in Sao Paulo (2005 or 2006, can't recall) singing the melody of the solo of Supersonic. It was biblical as well. (I'm also a huge Oasis diehard.

Yeees ... that was incredible. Best night ever ! That's why I keep saying that 2010/2011 were the last great years of Bon Jovi.

I've met a lot of girls here in my home town (Belo Horizonte) who are crazy about All About Loving You.

So 'Misunderstood' is really popular there, easy for Jon to sing, a song which would please diehards as well as casuals (let's face it...anything different would please us right now...)? Logic would dictate that it gets played.

So it won't.

Couldn't agree more.

Anything new at this point would be a win for us.
