Isnt anyone concerned how the ads are affecting the forum ?

We are in the middle of a tour ad every night its roughly about this many people , thats low compared to normal... surely people are being put off by the ads , its the only thing that has changed.

Whats the point in paying for myself to be ad free when others cant even get through the 1st page cos of ads. This forum will die with only the solid few left...

Strange. I think I did nothing to get rid of the ads. I see that something is trying to open but Explorer resists.

I agree. Well, I think banner ads are fine as I said earlier, but pop-ups belong in the last century with blink tags. I don't want to have to block all ads on my browser because unintrusive banner ads for instance are an important revenue source for a lot of legit people, but I want to keep coming to JT too. I'd consider paying if it meant the site would be pop-up free for everyone but not if it's just a personal subscription.

I don't visit as much now due to the ads, as soon as one loads up i usually just leave unless i'm here for a specific reason.

just because you dont agree with a post doesnt mean you should resort to name calling.

Many forums/websites I go to have pop up ads now, which is very annonying.

Where I work we have a forum which costs roughly £90 a year, it is similar to this but free from spambots and also ads. It has 150,000 hits per mth. Im sure JT is much bigger.
