I can see why you don't like the album. I see its flaws... at the same time I'm completely mesmerized by it. I just can't put my finger on it. It feels different, and a lot different to WAN which I could never fully embrace.

It feels more honest in a way, and I don't even mind the production this time (and I had issues with the production with almost EVERY album since "Crush"). Not that it's perfect, not that I'd wish them to change the producer, but somehow it all works for what it is. I like even the poppy songs with the recycled lyrics, especially "Knockout" is such a fun track. Somehow they work on this album. I would've never thought I would love a BJ album that much anymore.
