Default Richie back in the band???

OK, if it happens, I guess my post broke the news here. I was driving home and heard Bon Jovi on Hair nation (what else is new), and whoever the DJ is over there says the word is that Richie, while obviously not on the new album, will be touring with the band.

Anyone else hear anything?

Someone could have misconstrued this as a source.

No, I don't think so. I can't remember his name, but the guy on Hair Nation is close to many people in the industry. He said he's heard the rumor from multiple sources.

I'd say **** him. Although on the other hand, if Richie will be back the setlists are going to be different.

Love how the headline is mentioned nowhere in the article. It wouldn't be too big a leap of faith that Richie comes back after he has finished his record with Orianthi (so in about 2050 ) but there would be zero point to him touring for an album he had no part of.

I agree with the former in all honesty. As much as I love(d) Richie, it would all just seem too fake for him to be back after all that happened. And i still hope Jon does something to shake things up thanks to the new dynamic with Phil and Matt.

sadly i think itsnot true and honestly the time isnt right...if richie came back it would mostly be for the money at this point, its still early BUT they arent getting any younger...
if richie came back to tour an album he hadnt written he would probably leave mid tour again...
for jon and richie to find peace and balance between them they have to stay together alone talk and write a song or two...if the magic is still there they will know and continue the collaboration if there is nt nothing left they will part their ways in peace.
BUT as long as they dont face each other and not try to put an end or honesty into the equation the situation will be unsolved. they are adults, they faced many problems together they could sort it out even if the solution is richie wont come back again, but it has to be sth honest not one party deciding ..richie or jon

I don't buy this, the dispute or what ever it was still feels too fresh. As Nikos said Jon and Richie need to spend time together and there has been no indication they have been anywhere near one another. Text, legaleze or skype would not be the same. Richie has not had, by his standards, a big pay day since 2011 - so coming back for money may someday happen but feel so shallow. He claimed to lose millions on fashion and his current studio time, travel,......etc. has got to be adding up. He said in the airport "an exorbitant amount of money" is what it would take. Can't imagine at this point Jon feeling the need for that.

I'd like to think it's for the fans and the music but especially right now it would not seem so.

As someone else also said - why would he tour an album he had nothing to do with? Just don't see it.
