I might be wrong, but as far as I recall when he went to London the release date was still 21 Oct, so the timing was not bad. Plans changed later.

I wonder if it will go Gold in Australia. They haven't had a proper studio release not go at least Gold since Slippery. I recall What About Now taking it's time to gold but it eventually got there.

Week 1: #1
Week 2: #8
Week 3: #17

Solid point. When they changed the release date, I wonder if the promo plans moved too. The date change seemed pretty last minute, too late to move what promotion was set up.

Great point. I'm not sure of the timescale but if you're correct, then at least some UK exposure was planned to coincide with the release.

Michael Ball, though? Still can't believe he outsold them..

All new album the first 3 or 4 weeks go down....new metallica album that sold 280,000 plus copies this week, is projected to sell around 40,000 copies next week (drop 85% in sales)

According to this article, its the biggest drop in history

---Two weeks ago, Bon Jovi had the number 1 album before it took the biggest drop from the top in history, falling to number 43. In it's third week, it is now at 127 -----
