Can u call ur friends....

Well i dont know any other meaning for brother lol. When someone call me brother , it just mean only one thing to me :P
So why that make all men same?? Do u girls have differnt meanings for word brother or sister??

no. what I mean was that all guys get offended when they are told the relationship will remain on a platonic basis never turning romantic or sexual (of course this was a vast generalization only to tease you).

What exactly does it mean when someone calls you a brother then??? (cause I can only see it as someone pointing out that this ain't going anywhere ).

LOL This makes me think of Colleen telling me that if we met Jon together and I referred to him as "Sugar" she would kill me. Sugar is a very common term of endearment around here.

what if sexual is invovled at some point and they share all the persona details too??. In that case i really think its oftending to call that guy a brother or that girl sister...

So if suddenly one of ur friend start feeling romantic feeling for u, u gonna call him a brother coz u dont have romantic feeling for him, even though u had sexual thing with him at some point?.
I only see saying him a brother serve only one purpose and that is scare him away lol or desprate way to say ur not what i want in life.

Oh Gosh, what a weird convo going on here... I know, it's old, but I've been watching tons of BJ live shows lately and noticed that Jon not only calls Richie 'brother' but also 'babe' quite a lot and this is what a bit weird for me. I don't call my friends, even the close ones, in such a way and it's even more peculiar (kinda endearing too :P) between two males.

I sometimes do call my girlfriends 'sis' but it's rare and usually when we do feel the same on a particular topic.

I stayed good friends with him and his wife Clare for some time, however he seemed to disappear and lose touch. I sent him a twitter message a year to so ago, however I never heard back. His wife is still on Facebook, however I think they don't want any type of contact any more. Shame...absolutely top bloke.

Agreed about being a top bloke Kev. I think I remember that he was having trouble with his business and then he just disappeared He and I both loved old cars so it was always a great topic of conversation. Yeah - it's a shame. There aren't so many friends in life that you want to lose some. I'm older and friends start moving away and/or dying. I always like to keep the ones that I still have.

Yep, I enjoyed his company a lot, and we used to call and text frequently. He visited Liverpool for a few nights in around 2009, and don't think I have seen them since then. He hasn't logged onto here for just over 3 years. People move on with their lives and pick up new interests...
