What's up with Richie's guitar?
 

Ok a little broad as he has so many ;) but yesterday in Brussels we got a few close-ups of a guitar he was using that looked a little... well... mangled. Like parts of its paint and even woodwork were majorly chipped. Is that just a type of guitar? Did he step on it? Got hit over the head with it?

I assume this is the one he used for blaze at rock in rio. Did he use it for blaze? if so maybe it goes with the beat up wild west image. Or maybe it just makes the best sound out of his guitars for that song lol. I wish he'd bring back Jersey Star's or that old Les Paul he used for hey god at yokahoma 96. He seems to play the "sambora" alot nowadays.

He usually uses it for Blaze and Wanted. It looks like a trusted old friend to me. Goodness knows, the man has plenty of guitars. I'm sure it makes just the right sound for those songs, and he probably doesn't give a rat's ass what it looks like. ;)

It is battered but as long as it plays the tune he needs, i'm happy.

I was watching Bryan Adams Live At Slane Castle once and his guitar was all scratched and paintwork coming off.

Wouldn't have been so noticable if it wasn't plain white.
