Bobby

I do not miss this man. Sitting here wasted and wounded, i stumbled upon this on YouTube and now my ears are bleeding. It looks like Bobby misses JBJ. There are other videos but I couldn't bring myself to watch anymore...

Ok here's another, see how long you last before you can't take it anymore. I made it to the solo then just laughed.

His solo on I'd Die For You at 7:33 is the ultimate low point for Bobby in my book. Richie must have thought "What the **** is going on?"

On the other hand I can't see anything that awful about his versions of Wanted and Make a Memory. The solos are of course weak and he's not much of a front man but he delivers quite strong versions vocally.

Aw... I actually kinda enjoyed watching these videos.. his style of playing never did anything for me, and it definitely isn't the right style to play the solo in Wanted. However, his voice in these clips sounds good! Could Jon even pull off Make a Memory these days?

His voice did sound strong, but delivery and presentation I award him no points. Had me thinking, not on tour but still playing the bands songs...Maybe he was let go by JBJ. Im sure we'll never know.

That's because that very show was an autobiography show where the concert theme was that Bobby ran through material by all the artists/groups he has worked with in his career. Bon Jovi, Southside Johhny, Springsteen, Gramham Parker and so on.
I don' think I've ever seen Bobby play Jovi songs outside of Bon Jovi/Jon-solo otherwise.

Bobby is good where he is now,out of Bon Jovi
The only thing I liked in all of his years in the band was the "Drift Away" version he sang in Stuttgart 2008.

the only thing I really liked about him was the jukebox shit, he can handle covers very well but he can't handle the Jovi songs, everytime I listen to his solo on Wild In The Streets it makes me wanna shoot myself in the balls

Well, except for the obvious songs where Bobby played the lead lines/melodies his guitar was so damn low in the mix it was impossible to hear. I can't honestly say I've ever heard Bobby contribute anything (except for vocals) to let's say Prayer, Bad Name, BTBMB, Bad Medicine, Runaway, Raise Your Hands etc.

I've seen this before and, His performance and presentation aside I will forever remain in awe of that Tele/LP junior hybrid of his. I don't think I've seen him use it before or after but man is it beautiful. If they told me I could have the guitar collection of anyone associated with bon jovi, I'd pick his....
