I did not mean to make anyone feel creepy about the shrine. My neighbors really like it, and I have had many people who visited the shrine contact me since 2009. I did not mean to offend anyone.

This is the bestest sacred shrine ever. look, St.Jon is laminated for extra purity and he even has a candle to guide you through your darkest hours.

Praise be to the Sacred Shrine!
Ticos_Stick,
Maybe I am just used to New Orleans and the general acceptance for shrines and eccentricity, but I appreciate your comment that the shrine is not creepy.
Thanks!

Dawn,
I did build it because the locals were complaining too much, and I thought it would be fun.

Actually, TwinFan, JillyJovi is not taking anything way too seriously. She apparently read the article I wrote and recognized the problem I identified - some locals express animosity and resentment about Bon Jovi playing at Jazz Fest again - and this is actually an important issue that relates to the local economy of New Orleans as well as the way human beings treat one another. I don't think it matters if she's a newbie or not.

Nice looking shrine but a bit creepy to have it in the open, IMO. I'd keep it inside your house, so it can be private and something only you can appreciate.

Out of the number of people who have been contacting me about this shrine and even visiting it, nobody thinks it is creepy. I can't go out in public without people I don't even know asking me if I am going to make the shrine and offering to donate items and begging me to leave it up all year. Need I remind you that New Orleans is a city known for offbeat creativity? Please make a poll and post it all over the internet asking people if they think this shrine is creepy.

Thanks, Ticos_Stick. I appreciate it. I have added a special section for Richie Sambora too!

Default New Richie Sambora Section Added

Ya'll should really follow JBJShrine on Twitter if you Tweet. People have been donating items to the shrine, and a special section for Richie Sambora was established on April 5.
