Calling All Bon Jovi Fans!
I built a shrine to Jon Bon Jovi in 2009 near the entrance to the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, and the good news is that both Jon Bon Jovi and the shrine will be back for 2011. Is anyone coming to Jazz Fest 2011? Bon Jovi performs April 30.

If that's not a joke, it's kind of creepy...actually, even if it is a joke, it is still kinda creepy. My overall feeling is that it's creepy.

Why are people so scared?

This is the bestest sacred shrine ever. look, St.Jon is laminated for extra purity and he even has a candle to guide you through your darkest hours.

That's what my Mother told me - no candles (or cigarettes) in the bathroom while spraying your hair. It was the 60s and yes we sometimes had both in the bathroom.

You know, if there's one word I associate with Bon Jovi it's "jazz". They really are the jazziest band out there with their total lack of any freeform improvisation or unconventional musical structure, exactly the right type of band to play Jazzfest!
