Default Shepherds Bush 2002

Not sure why the other thread was closed, but, whatever. I finally found a copy of the show on DVD. Man, what a killer sounding show. I don't remember the band sounding that fantastic on the Bounce tour. I don't recall hearing a better show on the Crush tour, or any show since then.

Great show indeed!

As far as I know this was a promotional Gig for Bounce which was broadcasted live to several cinemas across Europe. I think the band and Jon's voice was still in really great shape early on the Bounce tour.
And although I don't exactly like David sampling guitar parts this was when the band was still able to deliver as a five-piece and you can clearly see and hear it on this show.

I know Bounce ain't exactly considered a masterpiece around here but I've got a weak spot for the album and tour nevertheless, as it was in autumn 2002, around the release date of Bounce that I really got into Bon Jovi. Nice memories

I have very fond memories of watching this and falling in love with "The Distance". KTF killed that night, they were on fire the whole show.

The Distance was amazing. Richie's solo at the end was blistering. Even Bad Name was on that night. Prayer sounded great, Wanted sounded great. The ONLY thing that would have made it better is if they had started using the longer middle part of Undivided where Jon sings "The time has come to rise back up." That really adds an awesome element to the song.

One of the best 'recent' KTF performances! And didn't Richie look like he was wearing a skirt during this performance? Certain things stick in one's mind, this being one!

Since everyone seems to be praising the KTF from that show, I'd like to say that this was a great rendition of Blood On Blood too, Shout was lovely as well Great show. The only thing lacking was that they didn't do any real power ballads even though the set wasn't that short.

I know it's an old subject, but I still can't believe how great the whole band and Jon sounded on those 2002 promo shows just to sound so crappy only one year later. I remember even looking at old archives of this bord a few months ago and in 2002 people here were excited about Jon apparently "finally getting his voice back" after Crush/OWN era.
