Actually.. I do care.

And I prefer that worn out guitar because it stood the test of time like Wanted dead or alive.
It has a story to tell unlike new shiny ones.

Anyway..

This guitar looks freaking awesome. It's Richie's and I believe he used it in Yokohama 96 during blood on blood and maybe some other songs.

Here's a picture of Richie with the Black Paisley Fender:

Here's a website I found that talks about that guitar, although I have no idea if the info is accurate - http://www.waxer.nl/?p=126. I'm sure one of our resident guitar guys can give us more information.

Gavin (RS8MBORA) owns the Paisley Strat. Bastard.

I think the beat up Strat he plays is a '58 or '59. I remember him talking about it in some guitar magazine interview a while back.

That's the one. When I'm feeling a bit devilish, I'll go out and buy myself a new suit for £200 or so. When Richie feels a bit devilish he buys a '58 Strat for $250k. I hate life.

When I'm feeling a bit devilish, I may go out and buy myself an item of clothing for £25 or (more usually) less .... and that doesn't happen that often

It's all relative

i was about to chime in and say if it's an original then it's probably the most expensive guitar he has even if it is battered.

for non guitar people here you can now buy "reliced" guitars which are basically brand new guitars that they make looked beat up and used. they actually cost more too

Just like jeans

Bruce has a Takamine that is so battered it's embarrassing. I personally have been close to enough to him to watch small pieces of wood fly off. He just keeps on playing it though.
