Default Remember how it felt when....

You called up for Wembley tickets and found out that the Gold Circle was £75 (£30 more than the regional shows). Or when the show was moved to Milton Keynes and you ended up stuck in a second gold circle, behind a barrier, miles from the stage. Or when you couldn't see shit at Hyde Park (on account of the *exclusive* GOLD circle holding 10,000 people!) and the gig was so quiet it was drowned out by the chatter of teenage girls. Or when you went to one of the regional shows, and it felt like the band hadn't even bothered to show up themselves. Or when on the next tour, ALL the gold circle tickets had gone up to £75. Or when they wanted £45 for a ****ing hoody, or £200 for a good seat the second time they came to the O2 (9 months in advance of the show!) whilst singing about how hard it is for the "Working Man".

What a bag of arse.

I KNOW everyone knows this already, but still worth repeating!!

The shame of it is that if the tickets had been anywhere near reasonable, this run of shows could have really made me excited about the band again.

I would probaly have paid £75 for a guaranteed good seat, none of the hassle of having to turn up early, queue, stake out a good spot.... Would have been excited about seeing them indoors again.

When they opened the 02, everyone (myself included), justified the price by thinking of it as an event, a one-off, a special occasion. If they are plannign a long-residency, it would seem logical and reasonable that the prices would be slightly lower. Not twice as ****ing much.

I've absolutely spent my last penny on this band, who I have loved and followed for 20 years.

Interesting thoughts, ive seen every tour of Jovi's on these shores, multiple shows on most of them.unfortunately i wont be going this time...If people want to pay for tickets then i hope they enjoy the shows.People can point to music being a business and money needs to be made but i cant help thinking about Prince's residency at the O2.....My memory is dodgy but didnt he play 29 nights at the venue? Im sure all tickets were 29 quid a pop.....maybe im deluded..
