For those of you who attended the 1996 Christmas show, you'll remember that David sang a song called "Maybe This Time" that he had written and sold to Curtis Steiger, which was a minor adult contemporary hit.
Anyway, Cheryl, in the line of duty, was stuck on hold earlier this morning with one of her customers, and they had that "lite muzak" playing, and what comes on? "Maybe This Time," but not sung by Curtis, but by David! So apparently, he has had some success in recording and selling his music, if not an album deal, at least to one of these compilation-tape type thingies that phone systems buy their hold music from.
