Bon Jovi Have A Nice Debut 1 October 2005
#1 in Canada

Source: ChartAttack

They may not have 100,000,000 fans in Canada, but Bon Jovi have enough devotees to push them to #1 on the chart. The band's ninth disc, Have A Nice Day not only features a scary face that eerily looks like a pissed off Mr. Kool-Aid, but it's chalk full of Bon Jovi, "Livin' On A Prayer" style goodness. Surprisingly, this marks the first time in Canadian Soundscan history that Bon Jovi hit #1.

At #2 are metal heads Disturbed. Their latest, Ten Thousand Fists, may never hit #1, but at least they're close enough to Jon Bon to scare the crap out of him.

After knocking The Rolling Stones out of first to regain the chart throne, Kanye West falls down to #3. Late Registration's had a good run, but with so many new records being released in the fall it'll be hard for anyone to hold on to #1 for a long period of time.

Besides Green Day, the band having the best run of late are Black Eyed Peas. The phunksters were #1 for seven weeks and they're still high up the chart dropping two spots to #4.

Speaking of Green Day, those lovable punks are still kicking ass. After celebrating a year on the chart last week, these American Idiots are still going strong. They drop two spots as well, to #5.
