JBJ episode of The West Wing to air March 26
LOS ANGELES, CA, United States (UPI) -- New Jersey rocker Jon Bon Jovi has been tapped for a role on NBC`s 'The West Wing' that has more than a cowbell`s ring of truth to it.
Bon Jovi -- playing himself -- will be seen throwing his support behind Jimmy Smits` fictional Democratic presidential candidate, Sen. Matt Santos, Daily Variety reports. Then he will sing the new Bon Jovi tune, 'Welcome to Wherever You Are.'
Bon Jovi`s real-life politics are no secret. He was an avid supporter of Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., in his presidential bid.
The Bon Jovi episode of 'The West Wing' is scheduled to air March 26.
