Some of the world's greatest living music legends came to London to claim their place in history on Tuesday. 'The Godfather of Soul' James Brown, Jimmy Page of 'Led Zepplin', 'The Beach Boys' founder Brian Wilson, Prince and Bon Jovi all came to London's Alexandra Palace to be inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame.
The new Hall of Fame members were honoured by music veterans and new talent alike, including R&B diva Beyonce. Rod Stewart was also inducted via video link from Los Angeles and UK soul sensation, Joss Stone, presented a posthumous membership to Dusty Springfield.
Rock stars weren't the only one's getting in on the act: British Labour Party politician and Chancellor of the Exchequer, Gordon Brown, presented an honorary induction to Sir George Martin, who produced the majority of The Beatles' albums. And rockers Bon Jovi were graced with a video tribute from former US President Bill Clinton.
