Bruce Springsteen closed Giants Stadium as a concert venue, and Bon Jovi has been signed up to open the rebuilt Meadowlands football stadium when it opens in the spring, according to a report in The Record.
The report said construction of the $1.6 billion stadium is ahead of schedule, clearing the way for entertainment events before the start of the National Football League preseason. No specific concert dates were available.
