Bon Jovi grabs the top spot on Hot Tours for the fifth time this year, with recent box office grosses totaling $46.9 million reported from the final month of the band's Live 2011 Tour that wrapped at the end of July.
Kicking off the last set of Bon Jovi concerts was a sold-out performance in Turkey on July 8 at Istanbul's new multi-purpose stadium, Türk Telekom Arena with a crowd of 35,723. Two days later, the band played to more than 53,000 fans at an outdoor event in Piata Constitutiei, or Constitution Square, one of the largest city squares in downtown Bucharest, Romania. Concerts followed in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Austria, Belgium and Spain before the European leg of the tour ended in Lisbon, Portugal on the 31st. The final show was at the Parque da Bela Vista, a large, open area in Lisbon that has been the site of many major concert events in past years. From the February kick-off through the final performance, more than 1.5 million fans saw Bon Jovi on tour in North America and Europe.
