AUSTRALIAN music fans will wait until late next year to see major international acts, thanks to the dollar's continued slump.
They will pay more as local promoters try to meet rising costs.
Ticket prices have risen more than 10 per cent since the introduction of the GST.
Elton John, Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen have postponed tours in early 2001 and tickets are on sale for only four arena acts before July – The Corrs, Kylie Minogue, KISS and AC/DC.
