ROCK band Bon Jovi will join some of the world's biggest pop acts at Australia's annual Rumba Festival.
Organisers said months of negotiations had secured the band for the Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney legs of the event, in December this year.
The group, will release its new single, Everyday, next Monday and is due to release its latest album on Sept 27.
Bon Jovi, which has sold about two million albums in Australia from total worldwide sales of more than 80 million, will appear alongside a star-studded lineup at Rumba.
The event's Sydney leg also will feature Kelly Osbourne, British reality television star and daughter of legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne, performing her popular cover of Madonna's Papa Don't Preach.
Singer Natalie Imbruglia, 27, will perform on the six-date Rumba series in her first ever Australian tour.
The Rumba line-up also includes US stars Pink and Toya, UK groups Sugababes and Liberty X, as well as Australia's Taxiride, Sophie Monk, Bachelor Girl, Disco Montego featuring Katie Underwood, Selwyn and Shakaya.
Jamaican pop reggae star Shaggy, 33, will make a return to the festival after headlining last year's inaugural event.
Rumba's 2001 tour took in only Sydney and Melbourne and drew a total of 90,000 people.
This year's event has been expanded to take in New Zealand and a total of six cities.
Tickets to the events go on sale in Australia on September 12 and in New Zealand on September 26.
