Bon Jovi look set to take the top spot in this week's singles chart, dethroning Atomic Kitten and forcing pop-rocker Pink to settle for second place.

According to midweek figures, the top five could see four new entries on Sunday with newcomers Busted battling out with Eminem for fourth and fifth positions.

Elsewhere, the Britpop contingent is faltering slightly with two comeback tracks - Suedes Positivity and Supergrass Grace - struggling to make the top ten.

Paul Weller, on the other hand, sorts the men from the boys with his new long-player, Illumination, likely to go straight to the top of this week's album charts.
