Target Stores To Offer Exclusive Bon Jovi CD 19 January 2003
Exclusive Disc Features Eight Tracks Previously Unreleased In The United States

Source: Target Corporation

MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Target Stores announced that it is offering a Bon Jovi music CD created exclusively for the upscale discounter in all stores now. The CD features eight tracks previously unreleased in the United States. Two of the unreleased tracks are acoustic and live versions of songs from the band's eighth studio album Bounce, also available in stores now. The exclusive CD is $6.99.

The Target partnership with Bon Jovi will be supported by this week's debut of a new TV commercial featuring the internationally famous rockers. The commercial, set to air during the Golden Globe Awards pre-show on Sunday, January 19, was crafted by award-wining video director Wayne Isham. The commercial, shot in New York City in November 2002, features Bon Jovi performing the song "Misunderstood" intercut with in-studio footage of the band talking about the song.

The band's latest album, Bounce, which debuted at number two on the Billboard charts, includes the single "Everyday." This single was nominated last week for a Grammy Award for "Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group." Bounce is the follow-up to the successful album Crush, which sold eight million copies worldwide and was certified double platinum in the United States. Bon Jovi has sold more than 93 million albums in their career and continues to rack-up hits including current singles from Bounce, "Everyday" and "Misunderstood." Bon Jovi kicks off their U.S. tour in February.
