House of Blues Performance Review 6 May 2000
The Exitement Continues

Source: NeceBogey@aol.com

Bon Jovi rocked the place at the House of Blues last night. They did a mini concert of their best hard rocking songs with five tastes of the new album:

It's My Life - Kicked Ass! Wow, what a live song!
Say It Isn't So - Very cool, it will grow on you big time
Thank You For Loving Me - A beautiful song, his best ballad since Bed of Roses
Just Older - The best new song I have heard, this better be a single
Next 100 Years - the weak one of the five, but it jams at the end!

They also played:

Living On A Prayer
You Give Love A Bad Name
Wanted Dead Or Alive
Lay Your Hands On Me
Bad Medicine
Keep The Faith
I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
and a few cover songs

Sadly nothing from These Days, I hope that it doesn't become the forgotten album - that would sure be a shame.

It was a cardiovascular workout. Never a dull moment. The crowd seemed into the new stuff very much. I think that "Crush" is going to do well. I can't wait to see the world tour. They are still about the best live band I have
seen.

The new songs are great! I am still a believer!
