Band promo - check it out
If you are a Bon Jovi fan that is interested in finding out information about unsigned bands, you might want to look into Deleveled. Deleveled is an up-and-coming modern rock band from the United States in hopes of soon landing a record deal. The band mixes many influences such as Bon Jovi (lead guitarist Jeff Pitts has been a Bon Jovi fan since he was 8-years-old and cites Richie Sambora as his primary musical influence. Pitts is also a member of the Dry County community), Metallica, Phish, Jump Little Children, KISS, Creed and L.A. Guns to create their own form of modern-rock.
After forming in March of 2002 in Florence, South Carolina, the members of Deleveled, including vocalist Ryan Hudson, guitarist Jeff Pitts, bassist Charles Julg and drummer Lee Pridgen, immediately set to work with a common goal: to create music. The band boasts an ever-growing catalog of songs comparable to that of bands that have been together much longer. The sense of urgency to write never ceases, as the members of Deleveled continually feel the need to convey their thoughts and feelings in the form of song. Their desire to communicate to the world is prevalent in all they do. April 2003 marked the release of Later Than Usual, the group’s first CD – an impressively packaged 8-song creation that was birthed after several months of studio labor. The band is currently busy playing live shows throughout the southeastern United States and promoting the release of the CD.
"Deleveled writes straightforward, radio-friendly rock songs," according to a review of Deleveled's Later Than Usual in the April 17, 2003 edition of The Florence Morning News (a newspaper in the band's hometown). "The band's sound is of the earnest, thought-provoking kind," the article went on to say. Producer Kevin Smith worked with Deleveled on crafting Later Than Usual. "The guys in Deleveled are rare - really hard workers determined to see this project be the best it could be, which is not the norm for a lot of musicians I know. Everybody wants to be famous overnight, but few are willing to put in the blood, sweat and tears. With the same work ethic in their live show, Deleveled will certainly make some noise on the scene."
Deleveled does not sound like Bon Jovi, but the influence is there. They are their own band and are hoping to give something original. If you like rock music, new and old, check out Deleveled.
