Jon Bon Jovi will play the title character in National Lampoon's The Trouble with Frank, reports Production Weekly. The comedy is set to shoot next month in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Sal Catalano, William Dozier, J. David Shapiro and Matty Simmons have written a script about long-time loser and chronic dreamer Frank Hopper, who is convinced he's hit the jackpot when he receives a credit car in the mail. Soon he's on his way to financing his dream of creating an all women ice hockey team, and also in debt to the tune of over three hundred thousand dollars.
Bon Jovi previously starred in U-571, Vampires: Los Muertos and Pay It Forward.
