Bon Jovi set out to make a very diversified and fun rock n roll record. With Crush they accomplished that mission.
Track by Track
It's My Life - An Excellent song for the first single. 10/10
Say It Isn't So - This song has a feel to it that is different than most BJ songs but with the awesome video I think this one can be a big hit even in the US where other singles haven't done so well recently. 10/10
Thank You For Loving Me - A nice ballad but not the best on the album plus they use the "these five words" line from I'll Be There For You again. 9/10
Two Story Town - My favorite song on the album. The verses are almost spoken with melody as Richie said in an interview. Great chorus. Very catchy. 10/10
The Next 100 Years - This song has a very catchy chorus as well. 9.5/10
Just Older - I really like this song as well. It is nicely written and pretty much autobiographical. This is going to become a BJ staple. 10/10
Mystery Train - My favorite ballad on the album. This tells of the way love is, a ride on a Mystery Train. 10/10
Save The World - Another awesome ballad which could have easily replaced I Don't Want To Miss A Thing on the Armageddon Soundtrack. I like this one better than Thank You. 9.5/10
Captain Crash - This song has crazy lyrics and fits perfectly into the summer fun rock n roll album feel to it. 10/10
She's A Mystery - A very good song. In a way similar to Mystery Train with a very calm feel to it. 9.5/10
I Got The Girl - This song has gotten some unfavorable reviews but I think it is a great song which Jon wrote about his daughter. Nice mix between a ballad and rocker. 10/10
One Wild Night - This song Rocks. It is the heaviest song on Crush and is all about partying. The intro music makes it even better. The song is awesome and probably the third best song on the album behind Two Story Town and Mystery Train in my opinion.
