"Crush" Review 17 November 2000
Crush

A review by Lina / linalilee@hotmail.com

I love this new album, not their best ever but its Bon Jovi how could i ever hate any of their songs, or albums. (I agree with those that say that These Days is the best album.) My favorite song of the entire album has to be Two-Story Town, with a close runner up to Just Older. Many critics say that this album goes back to their roots and i don't agree with that. I think that CRUSH is exactly what the song Just Older says. That Bon Jovi is just older but they are still the same old band, even if they have changed a bit. And i think that really says a lot for Bon Jovi, it shows that they don't care what others thinks as long as they still have their fans 100% behind them, and they do.

I just went to his Philly concert and it was superb. I mean they managed to incorperate CRUSH songs like; I've Got The Girl, Just Older, One Wild Night, and It's My Life with the wonderful older songs. And the mix of ages at that comcert was amazing, original fans to brand new young fans there. I mean i am 16, i was raised up listening to Bon Jovi, and there were people even younger than that there enjoying a band that recieved most of its fame during the 80's. And i even remember Bon Jovi's performance on NBC's Today show this summer, that show had at the time the most people come to the Today studio to see a concert. His concert had more people than Ricky Martin, how great is that?!? And the age diversity at that performance was also wide. Now what does that say about Bon Jovi??? It says that they are still the best band that EVER existed, and please keep them albums coming.
