"Something For The Pain"......one of the best
what is it about this song?
Well , hello again!!! Tonight, I am focusing on one song off "These Days". And that song is Track #2 which is one of my personal favorites, "Something For The Pain". This is by far one of the most brilliant RS/JBJ/DS songs ever written. I don't know what it is, but this song gets in my blood, and just makes me feel great inside. Those lyrics, especially the opener "Happiness, it's been no friend to me, but forever after ain't what it's all cracked up to be..." DAMN!!! that's soo deep to me. And that little bridge "....take me under through my veins, to a place where I feel no pain.." Oh My God!!! This album also kind of makes me relive "7800 Fahrenheit" because of it's dark, deep lyrics. But this one song, just has that "something special". Just the guitar intro at the beginning of the song gives me chills!!! One of the best ever!!!
Well, that's all for now!!! Oh yeah, just for fun, here's a list of my other fav bands I like, but Bon Jovi is the only one I truly love the most!!!
