"One Wild Night: Live 1985-2001" Review 2 June 2001
Is there a doctor in the house?!

A review by Gregoreo

Is there a doctor in the house?! That's what I was saying when I first heard the album. "Bad Medicine" is easily the best song on the album, but on the poll they only have 2%, while "Someday I'll Be Saturday Night" and "Something To Believe In" (both great songs) are sitting pretty at the top of the polls. "Bad Medicine" is the most exciting and really gets you going. I was a little mad though because on the CD it says live from Zurich, Switzerland, but I have the video and I specifically remember Jon saying, "One more time, just one more time," and David Bryan giving a solid performance on the keyboards. That is not the version i heard on the CD. The other songs are all great songs, but I'm sure the true Bon Jovi fans will agree that "Bad Medicine" is the best song on the album. There are a few songs that weren't on there that should have been, such as "Burning For Love," "She Don't Know Me," "Only Lonely," and "King Of The Mountain." With all of their great songs my expectations were a lot higher, but I'm pleased by the overall quality of the CD. On a scale of 1-10 I would probably rate this a 4 because I just wasn't pleased with the song selection.

Rating: 6/10
