"One Wild Night: Live 1985-2001" Review 11 August 2002
A Great Live!

A review by radome32

This is the first Bon Jovi Live's album and it sounds very good! It has a Neil Young's cover, "Keep on Rocking in the Free World" and it's the best cover for this song I listened.

My favorite song is "Wanted Dead or Alive". Richie Sambora plays a little beautiful intro in a 12 strings acoustic guitar. In some chorus, Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora make a duet and the way they sing is wonderful! The whole album is good, but this song in special touches me emotionally.

There are another version for "One Wild Night" and it's very funny and easy to listen.

There are songs as "Runaway" and "In and Out of Love", those were recorded in 1985 and it's very interesting to see how were the band, how they played and how they sang 17 years ago.

The whole album is very good but I think it could be a double CD, 'cause the band has great songs as "Hey God", "These Days", "Dry County", etc; those could be on this CD. I (and I think many Bon Jovi fans too) hope someday Bon Jovi make a Live Album with these songs. It could be cool!

This album is a good way to see how is Bon Jovi on the stage, the energy changed between the band and the assistance. It's a magical album and you if you close your eyes, you will feel like you are on the stage with them! It's amazing!
