New Jersey Review
The Best work Bon Jovi have done
what can about this album, fresh from the multi platnium success of slippery when wet and with the pressure on to maintain the high standard Bon Jovi had to produce another smash. Any other band might have cracked under the pressure, but what did Bon Jovi do, they went on the record what has to be one of the the greatest if not the geatest album they have ever recorded. this album is pure rock the whole way through, which shows a band maturing as song writers with everyday that passes. Opening with the hard rocking Lay your hands me on follewed straight away by Bad Medicine the tone had been set for this whole album, it was a classic, All the singles on this album were great, but two stand out tracks which were never released are "Blood on Blood" and "Wild is the Wind", this just shows how much Bon Jovi were at the peak of their power, not only was there 5 US top ten singles on this album but also had extras that could of as easily been super hits for Bon Jovi, Blood on Blood is still a highlight of the the live set today. Over all this is classic Bon Jovi, a great band doing what they do best and producing what is probably there greatest album
