8 July 2001 - Milwaukee, WI, USA Concert Review 9 July 2001
AWESOME! : BON JOVI better than ever!!

A review by KLVIV / kldkv@centurytel.net

It has been 12 years since I last saw the boys, and the Summerfest show was the best yet! They rocked the whole crowd for over 2 hours with some of their best songs. The opening act was fun, sorry they had a sound problem and had to cut it short. But, it was certainly enjoyed.
oyed. The Journal Sentinel says they played" Something to Believe In", but I believe that is wrong. And, I KNOW Bon Jovi 's music well!! Livin' On A Prayer was greatly missed, but it was a treat to hear" Always." And the highlight of the show was "I'll Be There For You!" The crowd was so into it. Here is the set list not in order. (Forgive me if I missed something): One Wild Night, Bad Name, Raise Your Hands, Wild in the Streets,Born to Be My Baby, It's My Life, I'll Be There For You, Always, Lay Your Hands..,Just Older, Bad Medicine, In These Arms, I Got the Girl, Sleep When I'm Dead, Saturday Night, Tequila and Twist and Shout, and Shout(Kick Your Heels up) And of course, Wanted!

How could I forget KEEP THE FAITH! (Sorry) Can't wait til them come around again! (And, Hi MOM!)
