8 July 2001 - Milwaukee, WI, USA Concert Review 9 July 2001
2 words, Awe - Some

A review by Todd K / trk@wi.rr.com

Bon Jovi proves yet again that they still have what it takes to rock the house. Jon was in top form belting out lyrics at the top of his lungs while running and jumping all over the stage. I got tired just watching him. He definitley knows how to win the crowd over. His voice remained loud and strong until the very end. Richie's blazing guitar licks were nothing but amazing. He's always been one of my favorite guitar players and he didn't disappoint here. He also displayed his vocal prowess on such songs as "Wanted Dead or Alive" and "I'll Be There for You." Richie has definitely earned the fans respect and admiration as there was a notable decible increase in crowd noise every time Richie was in the spotlight. The song list was almost perfect with the absence of "Living on a Prayer." That was one of their most popular songs and was strangely omitted. After their second encore, the crowd starting singing the song as if to entice the band to play it. Unfortunately, the house lights came up and alas, the show was over.

All in all, I have to give the show a 9.5 out of 10. This was without a doubt, the best concert I have ever been to. Walking out with the crowd, I heard many other "music-goers" sharing that same opinion. Rock on, Bon Jovi!!!
