I just can say that the Bon Jovi Gig in Vienna on June 29th was great! I have been a fan of the band since two years now and to be honest it was my first real Bon Jovi-Gig! I was able to see a Solo-Concert of Jon in Vienna in 1998 and of course it was good too but I dind't know so many songs that day and that was the problem! But I think the recent gig in Vienna was jsut great! I think the guy entered the stage (empire stat building!) about 8:30 p.m. and opened up with One Wild Night (taken from the 2000 Crush Album!). "Raise your hands" (Slippery...when wet), "You give love a bad name" and many other great songs followed! I think one of the many highlights of the show was "Always"! The guy also performed songs from the Crush-Album "It's my life" (yeah.. the crowd went really wild, another highlight of the 2 and a half hour gig!), "Captain Crash..." ( it hink you all know the rest!)", "I got the girl", "Just Older" (really great!) and so on! Other famous Bon Jovi songs like "Lay your hands on me", "I'll sleep when I'm dead" and "Bad Medicine" followed! Among the encores the band performed "Say it isn't so" (another great Crush-Song!), "Wanted dead or alive (which will be re-released as a single in August in Europe!)! The guys finished the great show with "Tequila(Snaps, *g*)/Twist and Shout" ( i just can say an amazing and great finale!)!
Summing up I have to confess that it was one of the best Bon Jovi-Gigs in Austria (i haven't seen the Zeltweg Gig on August 15th last year because I was on holiday!) and I hope that Jon, Richie, Tico, Dave and last but not least Hugh will pay a visit to Austria soon again ( I don't know if there will be a 2002 Tour but we will see!)!
