7 August 2000 - Helsinki, Finland Concert Review 8 August 2000
I hope U didn't miss this show!

A review by Tommi Salminen / salminen.tommi@kolumbus.fi

Awesome show! Really seemed like the New Jersey guys enjoyed playing in Helsinki.

Naturally the oldies goldies were the biggest crowd pleasers. However, new songs from Crush also proved to have clear potential. It'll just take some time them to gather the same power like "Prayer" and "Medicine".

A positive surprise was that quite a few songs from New Jersey were played (especially "Born to be my baby"). Still, the highest temperature during the evening was felt when "Wild in the streets" hit the audience.

I'd still have cupla suggestions for the set list: First of all, maybe "I got the girl" isn't the best possible song to start encores. I think "Wild night" from the new album would kick ass instead. Second, it'd be nice to hear songs from Jon's and Richie's solo albums ("Queen of New Orleans" and "Stranger in this town" maybe?).

All in all, absolutely one of the greatest shows seen in Helsinki. Thank you guys!

PS. And Richie, please could you ask Heather if it was possible to bring MP back alive..?
