9 July 2001 - Minneapolis, MN, USA Concert Review 18 July 2001
Best Bon Jovi Experience Ever

A review by bonjonnut / bonjonnut@vh1.com

I have been a Bon Jovi fan for about 17 years. I have seen them live many times. This time, a friend, Michelle Smith, and I flew to Minneapolis in a snow storm to buy fan club seats. We could each buy two, so we did. We took my children, Chad and Clarissa (aged 12 & 10), to the show. I raised them on Bon Jovi's music. Vh-1 Rock Across America was there. They had us stand behind Jenna Lewis while shooting a segment. When the doors opened, we bought our shirts and headed to our seats. Michelle and Chad had 4th row and Clarissa and I had 6th row. When Bon Jovi took the stage, I went nuts. My son later told me he was glad he wasn't sitting with me! Bon Jovi played for 3 hours. They did "Always" , the one I've wanted to see them do live forever! I wish I could remember the whole playlist in order, but I was to busy enjoying the moment! They did: One Wild Night, Born to Be My Baby, Livin' on A Prayer, You Give Love A Bad Name, Blaze of Glory, I Got The Girl, It's My Life, Captain Crash and The Beauty Queen From Mars, Always,I'll Be There For You, Just Older, Raise Your Hands, Someday I'll Be Saturday Night, Wanted Dead or Alive, Bad Medicine, Tequila, and Twist and Shout. Thats all I can remember right now.
