21 July 2001 - Pittsburgh, PA, USA Concert Review 24 July 2001
Pretty good, but there's something missing...

A review by Edbird / edbird@hotmail.com

Hmmm... the show was actually good, but I left the place slightly disappointed. Perhaps it's the fact that they didn't play In These Arms (which I know they played for many shows in this tour). I watched them during their Crossroad To The East tour and that show was much better. I think I had some problems with the setlist. Raise Your Hands is a good addition, but I'd rather have Thank You For Loving Me instead of Bed Of Roses since I've heard Bed Of Roses live about a million times :) The other nice additions to the setlist are I'll Be There For You and Born To Be My Baby. I could do without Stranger in This Town or Blaze of Glory or the two covers that closed the show. Finally, Wanted DOA should not be one of the last songs, it's not a suitable song to really close a show (or at least it's not suitable for being the last original BJ song to be played in the set) because it's not a rocker. Hope BJ will play more rare stuff in their Giant Stadium show (I'll be watching through VH1). :)
