24 March 2001 - Melbourne, Australia Concert Review 28 July 2001
"Who said the king was dead?"

A review by Alfie / glenden2@bigpond.com

Well what can u say...after the other bands had played and standing in a line for over 10 hours bon jovi finally took the stage and rocked the roof off Colonial Stadium like no other band can do. Kicking the show off with " One Wild Night" the crowd went biserk and Jon loved it. Jon and the boys punched out songs such as Wanted, Bad Name and to new stuff such as Just older and the crowd favourite Its my life. the whole band looked really relaxed and you knew they wanted to be there performing. Richie was working the guitar like he usually does and jon ruled the stage like a king would. What a great night for all the true Bon Jovi fans that have stuck by the band and waited some 6 years since the band have come out here together. As you would say.....Its being a longtime since drinks. Bon Jovi 4ever.
