Disappointed
FIRST OFF...GREAT SHOW GREAT SEATS, BUT I"M STILL A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED.
OK..Let me explain. I went to both shows at GIANTS STADIUM, and I'm sure about 75% of the people there also went both nights. Was I the only one dissapointed by the lack of diversity in the set list? We sweat out the whole entire show, waiting to hear something different. It wasn't until the encores..that we finally had a little diversity. Don't get me wrong I loved hearing "I'll Be There For You", "Say It Isn't So", and "Never Say Goodbye", but did we really need to hear "I Got The Girl", "Blaze Of Glory", "Bed of Roses" and "Stranger In This Town" two nights in a row. Especially since 3 of my favorite Jovi songs, "In These Arms", "Wild Is The Wind" and "Homebound Train" all made appearances throughout the tour. "In These Arms" and "Wild Is The Wind" were played heavily at the beginning of the tour, and were nowhere to be found at the homecoming shows. I can't believe it...still never heard those 3 played live.
Anyway, I think Bon Jovi need to take a cue from Bruce Springsteen, and hold back the "popular ones" play some obscure stuff...give us a little "99 In The Shade", "In These Arms", "Wild Is The Wind", "Homebound Train." How many times do we have to see "I'll Sleep When I'm Dead" and "Bad Name." Just a thought. (PS: "Just Older" is the same song as "Blood On Blood" if nobody noticed, no need to play both of them in the same night.) Just makes you think before you go blow $85 a ticket to see multiple nights in the same venue.
Anyway, That's just one man's opinion.
