Still in awe....
This was my first Bon Jovi concert and all I can say is that it certainly won't be my last!! I had the most amzing time and the VH1 broadcast hardly does the show justice. I've been to many concerts but none have gotten me so pumped as this one. Bon Jovi is an incredible entertainer who is second to none.
Eve 6 opened up, along with Sugar Ray. Although Eve 6 is a great band, I dont think many people appreciated them. They were pretty stoked to be playing Giant Stadium...who could blame them. We fans enjoyed their performance, but not many others did. Sugar Ray had a little more success. By the time they were on the crowd had grown a little bit more and they got a little more energy flowing. Mark was hot as always and not much needs to be said on his behalf.
And then there was Bon Jovi.... the concert kicked ass. I think the song selection was perfect. Even though I didnt know every single song, I was pumped the whole time, regardless. The engery and the passion was incredible. Bed of Roses was amazing, especially with the lights all around. I Got the Girl, You Give Love a Bad Name, Always, Someday I'll be Saturday Night, Blaze of Glory.... oh it was truely an amazing experience. The two encores were fabulous... I couldnt have gone home without seeing him those two more times.
All in all, this was the best concert I have ever been too. Even with my seats way up in the middle section, the engery was still there and I will never forget it. I cant wait to see him again!!
